MEDITATION & COMMUNION is a practical biblical course designed to train students to understand meditation, examine how they think and develop sustained communion with God.
The course establishes that meditation is not limited to scheduled moments of prayer or Bible study. Whatever repeatedly occupies the heart, directs the thoughts and influences decisions is already functioning as meditation. Students therefore learn to recognise the voices, desires, traditions, environments and media influences competing for their attention.
Through Scripture, guided reflection, classroom interaction and practical exercises, students will learn how to:
The goal is not simply to help students acquire information about meditation. It is to train them to walk with God, safeguard His Word in their hearts and become transformed through what they consistently behold, consider and obey.
Meditation is not merely a spiritual activity performed at scheduled moments. Whatever occupies the heart, directs the thoughts and influences decisions is already functioning as meditation.
In this foundational lesson, students learn how meditation begins in the heart, produces conclusions and eventually shapes conduct. Through Proverbs 23:7, Matthew 15, Psalm 1 and the contrasting choices of Abraham and Lot, the lesson reveals why the Word of God must outweigh the voices, traditions and environmental influences competing for the heart.
Biblical meditation connects hearing God’s Word with obedient action and personal transformation. This lesson examines how the Word changes our focus, breaks limiting thought patterns and moves us from the situation into God’s solution.
A practical revision workshop demonstrating how meditation precedes action. Through an ordinary bucket exercise, students learn to examine their hidden thought processes, identify incorrect starting assumptions and use five foundational questions to improve decisions and outcomes.
Students learn to distinguish an honest personal perspective from God’s perspective. The lesson introduces a two-column method for subjecting natural thoughts, feelings and questions to Scripture.
The workshop concludes by applying meditation to loneliness, emotional dependency, spiritual leadership and the preservation of God’s Word. Students practise deep meditation through repetition, recollection, writing and communion.
Wrong meditation can distort Scripture, create presumption and corrupt decisions in faith, ministry and business. This lesson trains students to test what they believe, separate Scripture from imagination and establish their conclusions through truth and multiple witnesses.
This practical class begins with a surprising examination of the cleansing of the temple. Students discover how easily images, respected personalities and previous teaching can implant ideas that Scripture never stated.
The lesson then applies right meditation to ministry, money, church leadership, personal identity, truthful speech, business ethics and marketplace positioning.
This discussion explores the spiritual significance and proper practice of the Lord's Supper. It delves into answering a question about the spiritual side of communion, referencing Chapter 5, "Seeking God After Due Order," from the Sanctification Manual.
This intimate teaching and demonstration of the Lord's Supper took place during the Fifth Anniversary Launch of Paul Esuon Consulting - The Ministries of Paul Esuon, on September 6, 2025.
As you watch and listen we invite you to partake in the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ and of His body, in order to be perfected in Him for His glorious return.
